What is cheek filler?

Cheek filler is made up of hyaluronic acid which is a naturally occurring gel like substance in the body. Hyaluronic acid fillers are used to add or restore volume by integrating into the tissue and retaining fluid.

As we age, we lose collagen, skin elasticity, muscle mass, fat mass and bone mass. As a result, we can appear tired, sunken, and saggy. Often my clients are unsure where to start when it comes to filler. They just want to “look younger”. If this sounds like you, cheek filler is a great place to start because it can address many areas of the face.

Expertly placed cheek filler can restore volume loss, create structure, and enhance the face shape. Cheek filler can also result in subtle lift in the lower face, soften heaviness under the eyes as well as support the nasolabial fold.

Cheek filler is considered noninvasive and serious complications are rare. Results can be seen immediately with minimal downtime. Cheek filler treatment can last 6 to 18 months.
